Yes as the topic speaks, I've finally upgraded from my Zire 71 ( Which camera I seldom use ), to a whopping 32MB souped up slim Tungsten-E :D Happy I may be

But I'm wondering if any of you guys face this problem. It can be any Palm user

The Palm Desktop CD provided with the package has the feature in which the program is able to upgrade itself to the latest Palm Dekstop, and wow it syncs as usual. Beautiful.

Notice that the new Palms have the PIM's. On Palm Desktop the use would be able to view the contacts, calender, tasks, etc on the left screen, not addres, datebook, etc.

Cool, at least the program knows how to upgrade itself

BUT!

On the Hotsync manager, it displays as followed;

Address - Do Nothing
Datebook- Do Nothing
To Do List - Do Nothing
Memo Pad - Do Nothing
Exspense - Do Nothing
Contacts - Synchronise files
Calendar - Synchronise files
Tasks - Synchronise files
Memos - Synchronise files

Odd is it not?

From what I have read elsewhere, the TE & T3 still have the old Datebook, AddressBook, ToDo & Memo Pad, but they are marked as hidden. I'm not really sure why. Perhaps some third party programs need them?

As far as the PD conduits go, they are there so that if you have more than one handheld (say a m100 and a TE), you could still sync both Users to the new Palm Desktop. Just the conduit settings change for the different Users.
