Anyone notice that there is a Web Pro Update for T3

For those too lazy to see the benefits w/o following a link (like myself):

Version 3.0.1 includes several feature enhancements over version 3.0:

* Speed of web downloads in proxy and proxyless modes
* Faster display rendering when switching between landscape and portrait modes
* Downloading files through the browser in proxy mode
* Handling of websites that use frames

Note: This version of Web Pro 3.0 is intended for Palm Tungsten T3 users only. This version of the application will NOT work with any other Palm handheld or Palm OSŪ device.

Also, I just downloaded it and the file is 1.45MB, so be aware of the cost to your RAM

Well that's why I am eagerly waiting for JackFlash to be released for the T3's.

JackFlash is an app that allows one to move apps into the Rom of Flash memory.
There is usually quiet a bit of free space when opened.
I gained over 4 meg on my NX80v..
Go to www.brayder.com and check it out.
It has been must have app with me for about 4 years now.

There's very little or no cost to your RAM, since the update simply replaces the original WebPro, which is already in RAM.

I installed the 3 files but when I open WebPro it says its version 3.0.1a.

Was there a second release, or is 3.0.1 the same as 3.0.1a???

There are two releases of the 3.0.1 browser. 3.0.1a is the free update for T|3 users. 3.0.1b is the version for other PalmOne handhelds, and the one you can buy on Palm's web site. As far as I know, the only difference is the supported devices.
