Fireball has posted my favorite DA in the file section on this site.
Select DA is a DA that pops up a list of all the DAs on your device, from which you can select and launch any DA you chose. This is very useful, particularly if you have a NR(possibly an NX or NZ as well), because it allows you to launch a list of your DAs with a hardware button. You still need a DA Launcher. I prefer Slow Launch (freeware at Palmgear) which allows me to launch Select DA with a long press of my Jog Dial, then I just rotate the jog dial to select the DA I want to launch and press the Jog Dial to launch it. Slow Launch does not interfere with the normal functionality of the Jog Dial. Select DA can be launched with any DA Laucher, including McPhling, and ZLauncher.
This DA was given to me, as freeware, a few months ago by the creator of Slow Launch. I emailed him to request permission to share it and yesterday, he emailed his permission to share it.
Give it a try, I haven't found any better solution for launching DAs if you have more than a couple of them.
Sebring, thanks for the heads up.
Being able to launch list of DAs with a hardware button is a good option. I use DALauncher4.1b1 (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nXtClieClub/files/-Desk%20Accessories/-DA%20Launchers/) for the same purpose by tapping the left or right edge of graffiti area (next to the app, menu, calc, find buttons). I'm not sure if this work with VG though. Have you tried this DALauncher4.1b1? Just curious about what other differences between it and Select DA.

The one you mention did work with VG when I tried it on my NX.
Tixx, thanks for the comment. I assume it wouldn't work if you collapse the VG to get the full 320x480 screen, would it? If no, then I can see the advantage of Select DA for those who want to utilize the 320x480 screen.

No, It didn't as I was always tapping on something else that was there instead.

I purchased PowerJog last year so I will prob. stay with that but it sound like you have about the same thing for free. I do like some of the other options that you get with PowerJog though. The only thing that I have had conflict with is Vivid video.

I used DALauncher 4.1 with my N610 and it worked great, but when I got my NR, it was a pain having to enable VG to do a grafitti stroke to launch DALauncher or any other app that is launched with a grafitti stroke. This, in conjunction with Slow Launch is just the ticket IMO. I tried Easy Launch, but could never get the Jog Dial Launch to work the way I wanted. This actually does basically the same thing as DALauncher, but it is a DA itself and requires a DALauncher. Before this I couldn't find any way to assign more than a couple of DAs to a hard button.
PS: I also use this on my N610 now, because it lets me launch any DA with one hand and stylus free.

I use JogLauncher (http://crspalm.hp.infoseek.co.jp/#jogl) to launch DAs from the Jog Dial. It launches apps too and keep a history of the last apps launched from it. Though it doesn't keep a history of DAs launched. :(

Select DA should work with JogLauncher and give you easy access to all DAs on you Clie.
If the jog dial is already occupied, you can also assign Select DA to the back button, using Slow Launch. Or for that matter, any of the other hardware buttons.

I tried SelectDA, it is great. Unfortunately, I can't use Slow Lauch as I have an NX. End result: I am doing nothing different than what I already get from McPhling.

I'm using McPhling as my DA Launcher on my NX as well, but it is different. Now, I can have only one DA (SelectDA) in my McPhling list, leaving the other 13 spots for apps. Before, I picked a subset of my DAs to display, since I wanted apps to appear as well. This seems like a good compromise.

If you use ZLauncher, you can also put Select DA in you QuickLaunch favorites list. Uses only one position, but gives you easy access to all your DAs, just like rldunn is doing with McPhling.
It is my understanding that some hacks work with a NX, are you sure Slow Launch isn't one that does.
