Couple of questions on T3 VG

I've been playing around with the T3 simulator all day and have a couple of questions. Well, actually, more like a couple of observations:

1) When collapsing and expanding the VG area, the icon spacing changes. This does not happen in my NX70.

2) When quiting from a 320x320 app, the VG area does not collapse automatically. In the NX, the VG went back to the way it was before the app was launched.

Anyone notice these? Any workarounds for #2?

I've noticed both. The sizing of icons I can handle. At first I thought it was related to ZLauncher, but noticed it happening in the default launcher.

The auto-collapsing of the VG is something I want as I find it annoying, although a minor one.

Just checked. ZL auto-collapses the VG. Very cool....

Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't (at least for me).

It does consistantly for me. I think they did this because they didn't want to try to squeeze 5 rows on the screen w/o the VG but also wanted the spacing between icons to be the same with only 4 rows.

I think Palm must programmed the Icons to be auto-spaced according to the screen high.
BUT, does it really MATTERS?

It is annoying to have to manually collapse the VG after exiting a 320x320 app. On my T3, ZL will not automatically collapse the VG.

I hope PalmOne will add a Prefs item to allow for the auto collapse of VG in the future. Perhaps ZL will address this issue to!
