Internal Medicine starting July 04 :) Still using my NR70, because I can't justify getting a T3 during 4th year considering I'm not doing much this week. Plus, by the time I start residency, hopefully POS6 will be out.

General Practitioner.

Still trying to decide which to go into.

Getting the T3 as soon as they have fixes for the problems (fried SD and slow performance after switching on and off)

Decided to go into Family Medicine.. :D

T|T3 (and loving it!)

Madcat99- I am looking to go into Med-Peds... how is Arizona's program? I just had someone here at Riley from Arizona's College of Osteopathy, and she had good things to say about it...

I just can't believe how fast the medical programs are on the T|T3... I've looked up 5 drugs in ePocrates and done a quick peek in 5 Minute Clinical Consult before my resident can even get his Tarascon Pharmacopoeia out of his white coat pocket!

3rd year Family Practice & Psychiatry resident. Using a T3 and it rocks! FYI, for all folks in primary care, check out InfoRetriever (www.infopoems.com) for the most interesting and user-friendly EBM software I have ever used. The authors are outstanding and the depth of info and ease of use are unparalleled on the PalmOS platform.

Actually I have written a freeware-application (http://www.tasarion.de/html/blaulicht.html) myself to track my times of an emergency, i.e. alarm, arrival at the location, depart, arrival at the hospital, and so on. At the moment it's only in German, but I will translate it, if I find the time.

Then I have set up a template for MemoPlus to store my patient's data and finally I have created a HandyShopper database for the usage of drugs and infusions etc. during an emergency.

Another database for Smartlist ToGo documents my own activities, when I'm doing certain things without a doctor's order. This is a special German thing, since normally we're not allowed to apply infusions or drugs without a doctor's order. If we do it anyway, it must be well documented. We call it the "Notkompetenz".

3rd year at Eastern Va Medical School, in Norfolk. Using an NR70V, currently awaiting my new T3 to arrive.

Considering Urology (let the jokes begin...), or maybe a Peds specialty.

Considering Urology (let the jokes begin...), or maybe a Peds specialty.

How about Peds Uro? We have a great program here at Iniana University-- I rotated through it for a few weeks during my Surgical clerkship.

Well, enjoy the T3... I really like mine (I would highly suggest getting iSilo for it because it is really nice to be able to read off the expanded screen and there are several great medical ebooks/texts available)...

5th year PharmD: ePocrates' greastest asset is it's relatively quick and FREE. Adequate but limited info. Worst...must reside in PDA memory (not into all the SW to get programs like this to run from cards...if it's a hassle, forget it!)

Best drug DB by far is LexiDrugs...not cheap (75 USD) but worth it if you need more than the basics. (ePocrates PRO isn't worth it, IMHO...50 or 60 USD?) I also like the Lexi nursing version for IV and patient ed info that's included. A slew of bundled SW avail with 5 min clinical consult, drug interactions, etc. about 225 USD.

Might try out Repligo also. Fantastic all around file converter...I use it to keep clinical guidelines in PDF files on T3 (GOLD, JNCVII, etc.) So MUCH better than Adobe POS reader for palm! Can print any format from PC to PDA via print driver....try the demo and see if you're not impressed.

It's a possibility. Peds Uro, that is. I've got some decisions to make, that's for sure!

As for ISilo, I know it's not expensive, but I don't like having to pay for the upgrade to v4. We'll see...
