Can you mount the TT3-SD card as a PC-drive (like you could do with sony's memory sticks and the Clié MSMount app)? Is therefore any additional software required for the TT3?
Thanks

You need CardExport (http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&sid=F9D6BE2C-F19A-4371-938B1CB9F1016944&prodID=44626)

Thanks dgantony, I think palm needs to catch up with sony's software package here.

Well, you win some - you lose some. Atleast there is 3rd party support. Now if only someone could take all the good points from the clies and merge them with all the good points from the palms, we'd be set ;) .

I've been using CardExport for some time now and it works like charm. It's ever so easy to install and it works everytime...
It's much faster to put MP3's on you card through CardExport then it is when you use the standard HotSync-method...

But...but...$20 for the thing????
I didn't use MSImport a lot with my Clie, but is was included at no cost.
I spent the same $20 for a multi USB card reader for my PC that does all types of cards real fast....

Another option is SyncVFSWizard...
This lets you explore the Palm's RAM or the SD card from your PC...

Card Export is a great program. I use it often to transfer MP3 and pictures.
But if you only use it occasionally, you should just use it during the trial period and you won't have to worry about the high cost.

This is probably a dumb question, but I just bought a T|T3 and have been using an MMC card, so what exactly does it mean to "mount" an SD card?

It means that when your T3 is in the cradle, the SD card will appear as a hard drive on your PC. Make's it really easy to move music, or apps, or whatever to the SD card.

Is CardExport a Windows device driver? or Software of Palm? or both?
After installing CardExport, If I connect my palm to other PC, what's happen?

CardExport has a windows driver & software for the Palm, just like MSImport does for the Clies. If you connect to another PC, you have to make sure to have the PC-side software installed there as well in order for it to work.

I've used Card Export, works like a charm like MSimport, yes. Slow, oh yes. No Mac support for the software either, that's why I always keep my USB 6 in 1 card reader handy
