This is the one I got for about $50 on ebay. I love the fact you can charge off a USB port. That little cable only cost me $6.

I had a M500 myself - it went to my wife when I got my Sony T665. Just recently, we sold it to my bro-in-law becasue I bought a new Sony for my wife.

I had a m505 for a while. It was my first color Palm. I thought it was great until I saw the first 320x320 color Clies. I sold it when I bought my NX60.

The m505 was my first color palm too. I wanted to get the monochrome m500 but those were sold out, so I settled on the more expensive m505 with its bad screen quality.

I almost got a 505 but changed my mind when I saw the m500 was cheaper.

I had an m505, went through about 5 of them to try to get a decent screen, the first two were made in Hungary and they were dimmer than the USA models I later got, but there was some difference even among USA-made units. I also had to send one back to Palm due to bad battery run time.

Palm's "solution" was the m515.

There was/maybe still is a wide range of quality from one Palm to the next.

I was never really completely satisfied with the m505.
Upgrading to the Clie T665 was such a pleasure.

Oh yeah, the m505 was a fantastic looking PDA until I turned it on.
