I just sold to my friend my Palm VIIx, and I want to tell him how to fix the battery...but I don't know what's wrong with it.
For some reason the AAA batteries keep on becoming discharged in 4-5 hours...even though it's been OFF the whole time...
Anyone know what's wrong?

Eee, that certainly sounds like a wiring problem. Sounds like there's an active circuit there somewhere just draining power. Does it get hot or something?

a faulty transmitter battery is a common problem, and that would cause that. I had mine replaced back in the day when i owned a VIIx

Hi,
Is there any way to get the transmitter off the Palm VII?
I explain:
I have reacently got my Palm VII and bought a replacement case for a Palm III model. Where I live there is no service for the wireless functions of the Palm VII so I was thinking of getting out the transmitter bulk and put it all together in the Palm III case. żAny ideas?
Thanks
