First post. WoHooo....
Anyways, Amazon.com has a great deal on T3's - $359.99 . This also qualifies for a $50 promotional certificate - bringing the price down to $309.99 . With free shipping and no taxes, this looks like a good deal.
Here's the link : Amazon T3 link (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000DBJJT/qid=1065751346/sr=8-4/ref=sr_8_4/102-8694935-7436919?v=glance&s=electronics&n=507846)
ps: I know that the $50 certificate is for the next amazon.com purchase and does not bring down the price of the T3 itself. You could probably buy some accessories the next time (maybe a keyboard or a lexar SD card :) ).
HTH,

Yeah. But there's no extended warranty available.
In two years, every PDA I've owned has had some sort of problem that required service or replacement. I might as well use that to my advantage and get an upgraded device out of it when it happens.

You guys really think so? I've had a PalmPilot (the original), a Handspring Visor, and a Sony Clie and I've never had an extended warranty. None of them have ever broken on me and I don't think I could bring myself to "accidentally" dropping it in order to upgrade to a newer model.

Well...if you wanna sell your PDA later on, the extended warrenty will raise the price of what your selling by at least $20 :) .

-Roberto I maintain exactly what I said before. My Palm IIIxe's case broke at the screws - no drops. My T415 had some goofball digitizer problems, and my T615 has been sent in twice for I can't remember what. The only thing that didn't break down while I had it was a S320 - but I only had that for about 2 weeks before I sold it on ebay.
I've never had an extended warranty either. They all malfunctioned w/in the first year. And knowing that I could have gotten a new device rather than sending it away for two weeks to be fixed by Sony really ticks me off.
Yeah, I want an extended warranty.

That's Amazon.com for you :) . They have a very dynamic pricing model. Recently I was trying to buy a keyboard for my NX70. The choices were KB100 and Stowaway XT. Both were $60 on Amazon. I added both to my cart, went to ClieSource to do some research, come back in an hour to get the KB100 - now the price is $100. So I got the XT. Feels a bit like gambling :) .
