Picked one up a Fry's today. I followed the installed instructions, but doesn't seem compatible with the NX70. Has anyone else tried this yet?

Trying to get it to work for me but every time I try to install the update files viz hotsync. It locks my machine:( Maybe I will try to re-download. Either way thanks for the tip!

Yes I finally got it to work using the new drivers, and removing the old ones as Lizard recommended. Other than that works like a charm!

Thanks for the link to the new driver, don't know why I never remember to look on the Sony site for them. It works great now with PacMan.

I returned it also, If you use a mac you cannot install the updated drivers and you cannot make it work. They should have included the documentation for it to work with all computers, since I bought them both at the same time. Is it the same with the wifi card can you install the drivers with a mac?

Fortunately, I have a Windows PC and easily installed the drivers (actually, I burned the .prc files to a CD-RW) and moved them to my Mac and hotsynced.

The controller is great! Don't return yours if you don't have a PC just ask a friend if you can download the drivers and copy them to some other media, the controller is worth the extra effort.

The Wi-Fi card from Sony>> no issues with a Mac (using MissingSync), setting up the card is another thing.

If it's legal (someone let me know) I'll put the game controller files up somewhere for Mac users to download.

I can't see why it wouldn't be legal, they are freely available from sony's support site. Anyone can download them. Plus it's not a program you can actually use unless* you have bought the game controller. :) So it should be all good. :)

You might want to exercise your 30 day fry's return policy after you see this: http://www.compuplus.com/insidepage.php3?sid=nm6wm219e2ic82k&id=1001379 . Its not a scam. I bought mine from there and it comes sealed in the box.

I think the return policy might be up now since the controller was purchased on January 16th. ;)
