Hi Guys,

I just got UX-50 and i never been happier!

One buy however, i have been having hard time to find Network utility similar to VXUtil in pocketPC. Does anyone knows anything what would include all those features (ipinfo, ping, traceroute, whois, nslookup) in one?

THank you,
Al

I haven't really looked for those utilities specificly but there's freeware SSH for palm, http://www.palmgear.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=software.showsoftware&SID=51C2087E-CF18-A787-AE64B95558EDB9B1&PartnerREF=&prodID=53353

I would assume you would have access to a unix shell that you could just run those utilities from, which could be an alternative for you.

Not precisely what you want, but the UX50 has finger, nettrace and ping built-in. Go to Preferences > Network > Menu > View Log and type...

help

...to see the list of commands, then type (for example)...

help ping

...to see the syntax.
