Sye i got one myself, a grey NX70 from ebay recently and i checked the rom contents and file versions and they are lower than the latest Sony US support patch indicates.

I've down loaded the update, but want to be 100% certain i need or should do this.

Q1. Is this advisable ?

Q2. What is the serial number prefix coding aligned to ? eg. 9=reconditioned. Mine starts 4...
