I've looked on other threads, but I still can't get it to work. I'm trying to get a movie to play on my CLIE, but it won't. I took a .mov file and changed the extension to .mqv. I then copy it to MQ_ROOT/100MQV01
But when I open movie player, it still doesn't show up, even when I try to choose locations. But if I go into File Manager, the file is there. :(
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance,
Alvin

Change the file name to MOV00001.MPG All caps. The last number in the name will have to go up if you put more than 1 movie. I. E. MOV00002.MPG and so on.

That's for MPEGs BTW, for MOVs you need to copy them to \MQ_ROOT\100MQV01 and rename them to MOV00001.MQV (or whatever).
Note note note: MOST QuickTime files will not work if you just do this - they have to be special MQV format QuickTimes.
You should be able to convert them to this format on a Mac, even without the Sony Image Converter...

You can use the Kinoma producer and the Kinoma Player to view any quicktime movie you have, but it's not free :( Try it at www.kinoma.com there's a mac version in their website.

I can't get this to work at all. I even tried the dolphin file Sony supplied. Is there ANYTHING special that has to be done. I'd like to get this to work without using another program.
