Since the untimely demise of my NX70V two months ago, I've been shopping for a new PDA. I luv the NX80 and I already have the WiFi card. However, I've been tempted by the T3's power and memory. I've also been tempted by the 72's form factor.
I looked at the TH, but I simply can't adapt to the bizarre placement of its jog dial.
Basically, my mind is with the T3 but my heart is for the NX80. Have you been happy with your NX80s. If you were buying now, would you re-purchase it?
Thanx

i considered the z72, t3 and nx80. I decided on the nx80. Since ur used to its design, and u own the wifi card. Its a no brainer. Get the nx80 for the 1.3mp camera, pxa263 200mhz, and dual slots. (as i did)

I went from the NX70V to the '80V. I had to adjust with the new PDA, although you wouldn't think so. The camera is a bit different and has a slower shutter speed under some circumstances, so my first several batches of pics turned out to be blurred. I am adjusting to the '80V and love the extra RAM, especially with Jack Flash.
If you are REALLY sorry about your '70V...I just happen to have one used only 3 months and with a screen protector for a good deal with several extra programs. Let me know ;-)

Thx, Jet. But I will take the opportunity to upgrade. I'm attracted to the speed and memory of the T3, though, BT is of limited use.
I like the NX80's camera, esp the capture light feature and the NX definately has a better screen, though limited landscape. The amount of AVAILABLE memory is a disappointment. BTW, does Net Front have landscape support?---that is nice when browsing the net.

I owned an NX-73V, which was my fourth Clie (I like new toys). I just jumped back to Palm and purchased a Tungsten T3. As much as I hate to admit it, it blows the Clie away. With 52MB RAM available, no fussing with JackFlash. The processor absolutely rocks, and the landscape mode that works with everything is awesome. Also, until Sony decides that it actually IS WORTH THE TIME to certify Bluetooth in the United States, Palm will continue to take customers away.

Does anybody know why the TG50 had BT while any recent Sony PDAs fail to include BT in US models?

If you haven't made your decision yet, I'm sure today's announcement will be a consideration for you.
Compact flash slot and camera are the winning choises for me. I wish more programs supported the Sony method of Landscape but I can live without it.
Who knows, maybe Sony will give in and decide to do an OS upgrade for NX series. And maybe pigs will some day fly  .
I've got an NX70V and I love everything about it except its low memory. Where do you go to get more memory AND a decent camera?
