im new to this forum so please bare with me. I recently purchased a card from sprint (model #2031) that plugs into the cf port of my clie. The rep at sprint (my current cellular provider) said it could be used on laptops and pda to connect to the internet and with my unlimited dowloads included in my plan it would be free (no minutes off my plan). After unsucessfully trying this i found out from sprint customer service that there is no driver for this device to work with palm software. It does work great with pda's with windows op systems. Has anyone else encountered this ? I purchased my nx70v 3 months ago and I love it, I just cant figure out an easy way of connecting to the internet. wifi will not work for me there is no service availible in my area except at starbucks.
any help would be greatly appreciated....

Forget the CF card. Look in the wireless forum for other possiblites. Examples are Bluetooth, Infrared, and a direct cable from HotSync connector.

the Sony PEGA-WL100 is the only card officially supported by (and known to work with) the NX. The Sprint PCS guy is full of it.

Its a strange coincidence. I was looking at this card today. There are no drivers for this card, but I wonder if a Japanese Air-H driver might work. Another possibility is using something like the Ambicom modem driver.
... after all, the 2031 is only a self contained modem.

i was looking at it because the card connects without wasting airtime. as long as you have unlimited downloads in your plan.

Too bad it doesn't work. But maybe with these new drivers it will become a reality soon enough :) Hope the "memory only" drivers turn out to be full drivers!
