Agendus contacts pictures & contacts tabs

hi, I am struggling b/w agendus and datebk5 (both are pricey for my not-very-thick wallet!).
Was impressed by Agendus 8's homepage & downloaded a trial version of agendus 8.

1. I can't get the contacts view to show pictures when looking at the whole address book (I liked the view in the agendus webpage that shows contacts with all the pictures, the phone # and e-mail address and a bar between the different contacts; this is the picture on the website under "Contact View Mode and Extended Birthday Support" at http://www.iambic.com/agendus/palmos/whatsnew.asp ).
Ergo, I have to open the contact name to see the pic. Also, "custom 1" doesn't have anything in it.
(Is this b/c it's a trial version?)

2. How can I get agendus contacts tabs for non-Latin language? I.e. most of my contacts names are in Korean. Since the tabs are in English, practically ALL of my contacts are squished into the "All" page ... and NOT in any apparent alphabetical order (well, at least, not in the order of the alphabet used here)! I am using a Korean localizer... but I was wondering if I could add tabs (say, at the bottom) for non-Latin based language contacts (most of my contacts that is)... Any Japanese or non-Latin based language users out there with some insight for me (although the language I want is Korean)? Thanks!

Anyone with any advice would be genuinely appreciated!

p.s. for pics in the addressbook--> under "Contact Views" the only thing I can change is the font.

Did you download the standard or pro trial? Photos are not enabled in standard. If you are using Pro, try copying a couple photos into /Palm/Images folder and see if you can view/add them from "Photo Picker" window. Let me know what happens before I go further. ;)

Hi!

I downloaded the Pro trial version.

It was kind of weird b/c I downloaded the "handheld and desktop" (8 MB +) version, but it only made an agendus for my desktop.
So, I went back and tried to download the "palm OS" version alone, but I had to do an e-mail iambic and get an e-mail back thing...


Anyways, both are labeled "pro"

Oops, i forgot to tell you, Yes I can add photos to my contacts on the individual contact's page (but only photos on my memory stick) ...

Then open the contact app of Agendus Pro, tap on the contact icon on the bottom bar, and you should see three selections: Compact, Expanded, Photo. Photo sounds like the one you are looking for. It will display all the contact methods plus a photo on the left side of the screen (provided you have one loaded for that individual. Hope this helps! ;)

It sure fixed the address book pictures question real quick!!!

sorry to keep asking, but do you have any ideas for Adding letter Tabs (for foreign language alphabets) in the address book (or assigning the existing English letter tabs to other characters)?

The alphabetical tabs are not customizable. Iambic does offer Agendus in several languages, but I don't recall Korean being one of them. You might:

1) Email their tech support about your issue
2) Append to your contact's name with an "A,B,C, etc." in front of their name to best approximate and to give you separation in the contact book!

While I've figured that out right away (photo view in the contacts list), I still haven't figured out why my photos from the standard Contacts program wont appear in Agendus, I have to put them in one by one all over again. Help!
