Yesterday I install Windows XP Prof ...and when I installed Clie software everythings works ok [sync with clie desktop] but when I try to use data import [after installing CLIE SCSI Driver 1.0.1215.0] my sys tell me that found the new drive and after that hangs and resets my computer with "Blue Screen" [fastfat.sys ...fatal error and something like that :/ ]
Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

Hey, do you have a memory stick in your Clie? If you do, try formatting the memory stick while in your Clie. Then try to install software again.

I haven't got MS... it's not the problem... I think is something wrong with the CLIE SCSI Driver...
Any else suggestions?

Delete all the previous drivers off your comp. Then install the new drivers and palm desktop then try hotsync again. Most likely it sounds like you have a computer error. Nothing to do with palm. If you have backups or not that much data I would suggest a reformat on your hard drive.
Hi to all...
I solved this argh problem...
What I did?
I uninstall all the drivers from usb [cf storage driver and clie scsi driver], palm desktop ... and delete everything what was in Program Files\Sony Handheld [not my "Backup" folder]
Next I restart my computer and first install...
My CLIE SCSI Driver 1.0.1215.0 [from USBSTOR.zip]
Restart computer and then when I run Data Import on Clie my WinXP found driver, install it and now Data Import works without problems.
Next I install Palm Desktop for CLIÉ and driver for Hotsync [CD -> \Drivers\Hotsync ...when I launch my Clie to hotsync].
Restart Computer
Now Palm Desktop, Hotsync and Data Import [CF] works ok and without any problem
/I nothing change on my Clie to make it working/
Thanks to all for help and I hope this will someone helps

CF stands for Compact Flash and the CLIE SCSI driver is not a real SCSI driver but "fakes" a SCSI interface for I/O with the MS(!) card.
Are you using Pelago or what other driver for your CF slot?
You requrie 3rd party support for the CF slot to work for memory cards on your NZ90.

Thanks for the link. I read the directions on the page and felt a bit overwhelmed by them. I"ll have to deal with it when I have lots of time to figure out each step.
Does anyone know if using the wireless card slot for CF will disable it for the Wireless card? I don't want that to happen as I do use it occassionally.

yes... You must install it before. You can use [buy] one of the legal drivers or use pelacea's hacked drivers .... everything works great

Could you send me a copy of the cf driver? I desperately need space (as I have no MS) and I several CF cards for my digital camera. the e-mail address is angeluscarnifex@ cox.net (w/o the space). Just make sure to put CF driver or some such in the title so I wont think it's spam. THANKS A TON to anyone who could help me!
