u need to get virtualdub and edit the sound compression to "no compression" =) i'd go more into detail but i g2g~ Sorrie~
I have no experience with video encoding for the ux50 so far (my memory stick asn't arrived yet) but I have found a really good guide dealing with this problem (unfortunately it's in german). The guide says that in Virtualdub first you must select the AUDIO->FULL PROCESSING MODE. Then in AUDIO-> COMPRESSION you must use the Microsoft ADCPM codec. Now you should be ready to encode the video. The author of the guide stated that the image converter (from the ux cd) had problems handling older Divx codecs (under version 5.0). So in this case you should reencode the video with a newer codec before using image converter. I hope that this info will help you.
