Please help me! I don't know what to do!!! I think i just deleted a very important database...which controls the background light!

It's not very much fun to play "Magic World" by PalmSW in the dark...i figured out that the card can't be the problem (i must be very careful with the card, sometimes i putted out the card during a soft reset and my clie started changing every half second between a black and a white screen and i had to do a hard reset).

I tried to play "Magic World" (the only game at this moment on my handheld because i cleaned the ms stick <- i hope you know what i mean with cleaned...deleted all files because my clie only asked this one question when i putted the card into my clie: Should this card be "cleaned"?) from my card and from my handheld and from both places it didn't work, the background light turns off.

If this was to complicated for reading (because i'm from germany and only 13 years old) then i try to say it again in a short question: Why does the clie turns off the background light during a game (no matter which game, but ONLY games not multimedia etc.) which is started from the card or the handheld?

If the bakground light turned off and i try to turn it on again, it only stays on for a second (or less) and then it turns off again.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Stefan

I said: PLEASE ANSWER!!! HELP ME!!!

When my clie was turned off for a while and i turn it on then, it stays on for 3 seconds. Or when i played a game and turned the clie off and then on again and press then a button the background lights turn off.

Oh man, please help me!!!

Sound like the hardware problem that occured on many TJ35s. If it is, contact Sony about it.

Hermmm...it's not the old back light issue where the background light didn't worked anymore, it's different (may be you didn't read exactly enough because i think my english is sometimes very confusing, right?).

Hermmm...(again) i would say...that's the procedure:

1. I turn my TJ-35 on. (Back light is turned on)

2. I start a game.(Back light is on)

3. I play the game and have fun. (Back light is on)

4.Only a few seconds (or many minutes but not an hour) and then the back light turns off. (Back light is turned off)

5. I try to turn the back light on...doesn't work. (Back light is off).

5.1. I try t a second time. It works. (Back light is turned on)

6. And then it turns off earlier than the first time. (Back light is turned off)

7. I say: scheisse (translated: ****) (translated: merde) <-that's multilingual ****!

So, that's all and that's my problem. May be an unknown problem???

Angry, no we're not angry just pee'd off now that we can't read this forum properly on our PDA's!

The mods should seriously start thinking about changing the access rights on the entire cliesource forum allow guests to read and DENY them posting until thety have fully registered and logged in, now where is a mod when you need one...

So the forum admin or mods would take notice and do something about increasing number of people taking the mickey using unecessary long usernames and the fact any unregistered guest can post here really annoys members here...

I thought it was a good Idea to inform the admin about the extra long threads. It was causing alot of problems for some.
