joining multiple mqv files into one video files

There are plenty of programs for joining avi and mpeg videos together.  Anyone have ideas on doing the same to the mqv files produced by the clie ux50/th55 ?

$30 to join files together? I i have peckjoin that does avi's for free.

dunno. I use the th55 to make mini-journal entries and I'd like to string them together at some point. But spending $30 seems a bit steep for something that is free for other formats.

Update:
I went and got a German Version of Quicktime Pr 6.4 off the web. I'd like to give Apple a few bucks, but not $30.00. If anyone from Apple is listening, how about a few utilities without having to but too much. Just want the burger, not the whole meal.
