Hi all,

I'm new to Palm OS programming (but not new to C and embedded programming) and I'm reading Palm's doc and API. I found that memHandle was defined as:

typedef struct _opaque *MemHandle;

in palmTypes.h. I couldn't find what "_opaque" is? I'm trying to find out what exactly memHandle is pointing at.

Thanks for any help.

MemHandle points to a handle in memory. A handle is sorta like a moving pointer.

Thanks. But what exactly is "_opaque" and where was it defined?

I don't know. Check the sources for os 4. Why do you need to know? It's not really important.
