Something like NR Buttons?

I just traded in my NR70 for a UX50. The first thing that I realized that I really miss about my NR70 was the NR Buttons software that I'd installed (from StandAlone). I had mapped a few of my most common applications to the extra space on the bottom of the silk screen. Is there any similar app/hack for the UX50?

Not what you're asking for, but if you go into the preferences app (Extension then Hotkey setting), you can assign Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+0 to launch different applications.  I've got mine all set up and it's awesome.
