Anyone haveng problems with the CLIER Viewer? Mine quit working last night after taking some pictures. Everything else in my memory stick works. I emailed support and got this reply:

We regret the difficulties you are having with your CLIE. We have searched our database and do not find this issue listed for your model. If your issue continues, in order for SONY to investigate further, you will need to contact our Telephone Customer Information Services Center for more detailed troubleshooting. We are available toll-free at 877-760-SONY (7669), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. From outside the U.S. and Canada, you may contact us at 239-768-7676.

Don't have time to call support right now.

If anyone else has this problem, I did a hard reset and it is working now.

yeah most problems can be solved by doing a hard reset. I learned that from my nx although I haven't ahd any problems wiht the nz ( knock on wood ) Backup the files on a ms so that if u have to hard reset and your not at home u can get back all ur stuff.

It always hurts to do a hard reset though

I don't like to do a hard reset. I almost lost all of my addresses, memos,ect, and almost had to put 7 of my Skyscape products back in -- but I hot synced it one more time, and fortunately got it all back. The Sony Support told me once, that it doesn't hurt the Clie to do a hard reset, but sometimes you have to reinstall some things.

maybe it does not hurt the clie when you do a hard reset, but what about me?? i think it hurts a lot!!
