Need help with Windows XP + NZ90

I just reinstalled myt machine from scratch and decided to go with Windows XP.

I first installed the Sony Palm Desktop, Rebooted.


Then hooked up the USB cable and cradle.


Whenever I try to do a hotsync, a dialog pops up and says Found new hardware, installing palm, but then it says it cannot find any drivers, and cannot install.


What am i doing wrong? It was real easy to setup on win98se?

Not sure if this will work, but you might try to unplug the USB and replug it to get WinXP to do the search again for the driver - just pick Automatic Search.

If not, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the Sony Palm Desktop software again. From experience, I remember WinXP did automatically pop up the Install Driver message box after i hit the sync button the first time.

Ah, there was your fatal error. It's only supposed to make you THINK it's easier.:D
