I'm about to install Splash ID V3 but I want to know how secure the data is on palm and the desktop computer?
is the password file encrypted in both desktop computer and palm? Is it possible that somebody can steal the file from my desktop computer and view it?

Kind Regards,
Boyke

There is password protection on both the handheld and desktop. I'm not sure about how difficult the password is to crack. The following is from their website:
"Password protection, using Blowfish encryption, keeps your data safe and secure"

The following is from a site on encryption:
"Blowfish is a symmetric block cipher that can be used as a drop-in replacement for DES or IDEA. It takes a variable-length key, from 32 bits to 448 bits, making it ideal for both domestic and exportable use. Blowfish was designed in 1993 by Bruce Schneier as a fast, free alternative to existing encryption algorithms. Since then it has been analyzed considerably, and it is slowly gaining acceptance as a strong encryption algorithm. Blowfish is unpatented and license-free, and is available free for all uses."

Well I lost my NX80 with every important piece of information about me encrypted in SplashID, and so far none of my credit cards have been run up! :)
