Hey everyone
I'm getting my NZ next week and im deciding if i should save up for a wireless card.
Today at school, I found a classroom with a wireless hub underneath it for teachers (some have laptops, with wireless. the teacher encourages us to use it as there are useful notes on the intranet), and i got one of my friends with a wifi card in his laptop to try get it. He could pick it up from where the teacher was, but there was too much signal noise and couldnt maintain a constant connection. But the teachers laptop was fine. I'm guessing this has to dow ith the type of wireless card and the antenna...
I'm referring to the NZ with a wireless CF card:
1. Can you attach an external antenna
2. How good is the card compared to laptop ones, range?
3. Does the NZ actually get an IP?
4. Can you switch between wireless networks?
5. Does the Wifi suck up the battery? How long could you run it for?
