can't find my download ......

Help, please.

I've downloaded something from freewarepalm, and according to the hotsync log it was downloaded successfully. I can't find it on my sj33. What did I do wrong? Am I missing something obvious?
Any assistance appreciated.

try reloading it again and make sure you're searching the MS, and not the handheld. Took me a while to see that one on one of my recent downloads.

As you can tell I'm no scholar about this ... So, search the MS ... where?

Did you sync it to the handheld, or to the Memory Stick. If you synced it to the Memory Stick, the files will show up in the /PALM/Launcher folder and will show up in the Memory Stick category if it's an application.

Also, is the file a .prc file. If it's not, it won't show up in the main launcher.

I downloaded it to the handheld. And it has a .pdb extension.

A .pdb file is a database file and will require some other application to read it. The site where you downloaded the file from should mention the type of program that would be required to open it.
