View Full Version : Movie formats on an NX60

I have a new NX60 and want to load some QT movies onto the MemoryStick. I searched the forums and found some advice, but some of it appeared Windows specific and no matter what format of folder I place the movie in, I have yet to successfully see a movie listed in the Clie's movie player.

What is the best and/or easiest video format to use from the Mac? Can you use .mov or .mp4 files or convert it into something else? One forum suggested renaming the extension of the .mov file to .mqv. What the heck is that? In either case it did not work for me.

Given that I have been missing something (probably obvious) I would appreciate any other tips or details that a newbie might overlook.

Thanks

I too am in great need of this information. I really don't wan't to use Virtual PC to convert video and cripple my machine with the task of doing video conversion in an emulated OS. I have seen this question asked yet no real answer. Help?!

the best conversion program i have found is kinoma producer (http://www.kinoma.com). it will translate to the kinoma file format and can be viewed with the free kinoma reader. it is available for osx and has worked well for me on my nx70v. :)
