Net Front keeps disappearing

I have an NX70V and have had Net Front on it for a while although until recently have not been able to connect it to the net due to lack of hardware required. Now I am trying to connect through a blue-tooth connection to my PC.

This is all fine and smiley and all going well except for the one small fact that Net Front is not showing up on my launcher. It is installed all OK as it is showing in the list of things I can delete. I have tried downloading the software and the update from Sony and without the update the same thing happens, with the update, however, there is an icon showing that says Net Front Installer, tapping on this just causes the Clie to go back to showing the launcher again from the start.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before and would anyone know of a fix I could try, I have done hard resets and soft resets, cleared it off manually and from the backup on my PC, just starting to get a little fed up with it all now.

My end aim is to have a blue-tooth connection set up so I can lounge around on my bed and still have web access:D

are you sure that netfront is not hidden?

if my memory serves me right, you need 2megs free of internal space + the space required by netfront, try clearing some stuff you dont need and see if that helps.

It was hidden, thanks boogers, although that has not solved the second problem. An icon is now showing (blue circle with a pen in it) called NetFront3_installer.

Like I said before all that happens when I tap that one is that the screen goes white and then puts me back to the launcher screen without starting NetFront. I have tried using the version that comes on the CD with my clie and the version from Sony's site and the same thing keeps on happening.

I have had it on before with no problems at all and have managed to connect through my phone both via IR and Bluetooth and have no doubt I could do it again, if only I could get the app to launch (I have checked whether it is launchable with filez too)

Pls make a search about Netfront installation. Then you should know you need about 6MB for installation. Pls move some programs to MS first, then reset your NX. Netfront should installed correctly.

Thankyou so much for that one jackho, I had 5.5Mb free when I was trying it. Got rid of some more bits I never use and had 6.4 free and it went on just fine.

Strange how it needs so much availiable for a 2Mb program, hey well, all sorted now, just have to wait for the wireless card I ordered to come through now.

That likes you installing programs in PC, you need more spaces during installation but program only requires less spaces after installed.
