I have a nx70 running on win2k and i can't seem to access the memory card. When i install ms export it installs fine and reboots but when i try to access it it says no memory card/drive
When trying ms import on the clie it tries to install sony peg mass storage driver.
after some research i've found that this driver is the palmusbd.sys file which i have on my comp in several places.
the hardware wizard never accepts the driver, always saying it's not a suitable driver
when i run the palm desktop for clie and go to help > about and check the installed drivers and the ones that are used it doesn't list palmusbd.sys as one even though it should.
if anyone has run into this or knows how i can get it to accept the driver or any other way to be able to access my memory card i'd love to hear from you.
i have sp3 on win2k .. usb cradle hooked up properly and hotsyncs fine but memory card doesn't work
pls help!

Try this driver (http://members.driverguide.com/driver/dispatch_getfile.php?did=115819). The best choice really is to get an external usb reader. I recommend the Lexar JumpDrive Trio (http://www.lexarmedia.com/jumpdrive/jd_trio.html).http://www.lexarmedia.com/images/jd_trio_page_pic.gif

yeah . . . . jumpdrive trio rocks . . . . but i think i'm gonna have to get something that reads CF since my data import on my nx60 isn't working . . . .

hi i tried that ms scsi driver u posted and still no luck

When u open palm desktop and go to about and it shows the list of the drivers mine doesn't list the palmusbd.sys which is the usb mass storage thingy..
i tried connecting my clie to another computer running xp and i encountered the same problems..
it's not my usb ports because i've tried alternating them all
any other suggestions anyone?

you need to get the sony mass storage device driver, that palmusbd.sys you mention is not familiar to me.

do you know where i can get it or do u have it?

I just read on other forums that palmusbd.sys was what i needed and after examining other people's palm desktop and seeing that driver listed made me think it was correct...
any other suggetsions?
