I've spoiled display by appling to much alc when cleaning my Clie. It works fine but the back side of it stained brown. I'm in russia and it can be repaired only in USA. There's no support for nonUS residents, as it stated somewhere on http://sonyelectronics.sonystyle.com/micros/clie/support/index.html
What would you advise me? Dump it in trash and buy TH55? Or is there a way to repair it?

tell you the truth, it's not worth getting a new screen for your NX60 or fix it because the screen will cost you about approx. $150US or more (the price is from sony 2003, i'm not sure if they change the price now) plus that's excluding the wages for the techician and other extra fees.

*my info can be wrong, can someone confirm my info?*

b0z0,

I bought a nx70 (US limited edition grey) through ebay, dropped it and cracked the screen. Insurance allowed me to get a new one. So i waited and waited to try and get a new replacement screen. Tried the screen replacement guys on the web, no luck, waited on ebay, no luck.

Now got a Ux50 and will be sellling 1.5 Nx70's very soon. Sony UK quoted me £100 for a screen, but i would have to send it in to them to be exammined. Very poor and expensive support IHO. Gimme the bits and i'll do it !!!!

Were in the disposable era, whats all this green recycling crap i keep hearing.....

Best of luck.

yep. sony's boxes are 100% recyclable as well as contents within = P
i think you can find a used NX for less than the cost of replacing a screen. if not, just think of this as a sign that you need to upgrade your hardware.
