NX60 and Camera

Well it never occurred to me that a Sony memory stick device woud not work in a Clie. But it appears that the memory stick camera won't work in my NX60. Just got one, probably the last one on the shelf at Circuit City. But it won't run on the NX60. Closest thing I can find for an updated driver on the Sony site is an NR70 updated driver for it.

Is there any hacked driver out there that might make the darn thing work? I know the MS Camera isn't super high quality but I'd really like to have it working for the convenience.

I think Circuit City will take it back even though I opened the package as it wasn't a clearance price. But my preference is that it would actually WORK.

Apparently there is no OS5 driver, so it will not work with any of the OS5 Clie's. This information comes from a reply on the nxtclieclub Yahoo Groups mail list.

Other feed back I've seen indicates that it is a very low quality camera anyway. It is 100k pixels (0.1 megapixel). For comparison, the camera on the NX-70 is 0.3 megapixel and the NX-80 is 1.3 Megapixel.

I paid $71 on sale at Circuit City. I just returned it this morning.

ahh . . . . you can buy a cheap 2mp camera for that much anyway. thanks for your research. i'll stick to using my NZ camera then.
