I have the Sony keyboard version 1.8 on the TH55 and I cannot delete it and cannot load new versions. The message says the file is read only. Any ideas on how to get the driver off the device?

Make sure you're in the native Clie Launcher view, tap the trash icon, choose the KB file, delete it, then reset your device.
I have to use this method any time I've had a file I need GONE for good (stubborn files).
Hope this helps.

lgmccoll,

Try using FileZ. There are VERY few files you can't delete or copy with that app, and it's freeware too!

FileZ is awesome, great program to handle all of your file needs.... Just wish that it had Clie File's ZIP file ability.

To delete: Go to filez and rename the kb driver file. Soft reset then go back to filez and delete. This worked for me.

A new version?? Where is thou?
