Greetings,

Is everyone seeing really slow sync speeds with bluetooth, or is it just me? For instance, to hotsync a 550KB .prc file using bluetooth takes nearly 30 seconds. I figure this is because hotsync is using the bluetooth serial port emulation. Are there any other ways to accomplish the same thing, and faster, using bluetooth?

Thanks!

I think this is due at least in part to the fact that Bluetooth falls quite short of even Wi-Fi speeds, much less wired transfer rates.  I may be mistaken but it seems that Bluetooth is limited in that it only has ranges of around 30 feet and rates maxing out around 2-3Mbps (in contrast to Wi-Fi's 100+ feet and 11Mbps respectively).  Now how much this comes into play during .prc transfer during a hotsync I can't say.
