background colos in Agendus 7

Hi,

Is it just me being thick or does not Agendus 7.06 allow for customizing background colors in for instance the week grid view and single day split view (which has that awful liteblue tint on every other row) ??

(It seems to me that A5 has more visual customizing options (seen as it allows for quite nice mini icons whereas in Agendus I have to have a rather big font to display the hi res icons, and the font is too big if you have ore than a few things to do every day..))

(Also, the system icons are really really nice, so why can't the other ones be nice as well... or are they trying to make us buy nice icon packs...?? )

The new beta 8.0 allows for 256 colors in backgrounds for the week view.

Turn off ledger style coloring. ;)

Beta V8.0 does not have the resolution change settings. Recommend Fonts4OS5 and you should be able to have the best of both worlds . . . small fonts and hi-res icons. :)

There are some very nice free icon packs in addition to a number of nice not-so-free ones!

Hmmm.... in the beta 8 I can only get colour background for the today view as alternative wallpaper... nothing in week view (grid 1)... hmmm.... is this because I have PalmOS 4.1...?

Tap the tool button (bottom right of screen, second button in). Choose the Settings tab and choose Show Wallpaper

eehhmm... if I do exactly what you say I only have the row of 8 fonts and the multi-line display box....

I reread you post and Agendus 7.x does not allow for wallpaper in week and month views. This feature is new to version 8.xbeta. Sorry for any confusion.

ok, confusion abounds.....

I started asking about 7.06 but when answer came about beta 8 I downloaded that one and that is what my last post was about.

I am now trying beta 8 build 392.1 on palmOs 4.1.

And I still dont get any option to turn colored wallpaper on for weekview grid 1 (as in the paper filofax = 1 week on two pages). I can only get it on the Today page.

From the feature list of the v. 8 beta from iambic...

Solid Color as wallpaper (STD/PRO): any solid color can now be used as wallpaper (preferences -> wallpaper).
