Hi,
Since I have no one else to turn to and seeing your hacking capabilities with the clie and your contribution to the Clie community I would like to ask you for a favour.
As a developer it is a pain using the Clie Game controller SDK to use the GC10 effectively. Is it possible for you to write a driver replacing the lousy Sony GC10 driver and present a good API for developers to use the GC10 effectively.
Jeff Mitchel (aka skeezix) who has ported an Atari ST emulator, Colecovision emulator and presently porting a genesis emulator for the Palm OS finds the present SDK and lack of documentation a pain to be able to use the GC10 for his apps. I have tried to provide some workaround but those are unnecessary pain too.
thanks
tovarish
PS maybe this ought to be in the developers forum but for sake of visibility to others I have posted it here. I would like opinions of others too on this.

I think Cliepet's next project is to research how to get a good night's sleep, he seems to never stop.

Sorry, no interest in that kind of thing (one of the few CLIE accessories I don't own)
BTW: If you want to make a specific request to me personally, please use email.
Others may have interest, but don't expect anything from me.

CliePet - is there any interest on your part to do a WiFi utilities set such as a WiFi Locator and a signal meter. A tool similar to Cisco's set of tools that allow you to see all of the access points and their current strengths on the screen at once would be nice. The 5.2 OS has a barebones utility, but I think that something more detailed would be great. I know that this has been brought up in the past, but with your current assault on the wifi file sharing, I figured it might be relevent to bring it up again.
Again CliePet, I appreciate everything you have done to prolong the life of my humble NX70

Gee give cliepet a break ! He's been already extremely nice and great to do the MCA utility free of charge ! Thanks a lot cliepet, for all your hard work.

Nope.
FWIW: That's rather specialized. Just like a wired webcam, a dedicated device will do a better job if you have the serious need for such a device.
BTW: If you've run out of things to do with your CLIE, buy another one ! (ie. two WiFi enabled CLIEs can be used for a number of interesting scenarios)

Of course, like all these issues, you can reverse engineer any of the system components yourself [assuming you are reverse engineering to create compatible software, that's a legal use under DMCA]

The old SpyMovieCam already has that feature ;->
FWIW: The CLIE camera already skews to the IR range
