Just downloaded the demo and purchased the collection immediately:

http://www.gameboxclassics.com/

You can't beat this, for under $10: 6 classic puzzle/arcade games with great graphics and cool music. I wouldln't have been surprised to see each of these selling for $10--getting them all together is a steal.

PDAMill has been putting out some impressive games lately...

This thread should be in the Games section, but rather than start a new thread, I figured I would add my .02 to this one since it was already started.

Just have to second the praise for Gamebox Classics. I don't even remember downloading the trial, but I've been trying to clean up my downloads folder this weekend (actually installing all these things that I've downloaded to see if they are any good! lol). This software was the only one that I bought immediately after playing the demo.

The games (the actual games have different names, but these are the easiest way to describe them):

1. A Tetris clone
2. A Tetris clone where you have to match colors, not just rows
3. A game similar to Astraware's Big Money (and probably many others)
4. A cannons game - sort of like Snails, but just 1 cannon against another
5. A Snake game - try to eat the specified amount of fruits without eating your own tail (or any of the waste by-products which said fruit has caused you to deposit - complete with sound effect!)
6. A Breakout-type game.

Sooo...nothing too original in terms of the actual game concepts (for example, if you just need a Breakout-type game I have been playing the great freeware game The Prison), but the graphics are wonderful, the sound is great compared to most games, and the price for all of these games can't be beat.

There was obviously a lot of thought and care put into these to make them stand out from all the other versions of these standard games, and it shows. If you haven't checked this out, I highly recommend it.

Fireball causes my TH55 to freeze. It plays well on my T3 though.

I've never had Fireball freeze my TH55...strange...
