Has anyone tried software other than the Clie Audio Player ver 2.2.1 to play mp3s ? I am begining to have a collection of .ogg files that I would love to play on my T665 ? I've also heard that .wma files are a lot smaller.

Just wondering...

cheers

Nothing yet, there's a program for the T|T but that doesn't exactly help.

It is very unlikely a program could EVER play .ogg, .wma or mp3pro files on a T665.

The Dragonball 66-Mhz processor included in it is in fact not really capable of decoding mp3 files, let alone more complex codecs.

In fact, Sony added a chip in T665 for the mp3 / ATRAC3 capability (this is why playing mp3 on T665 uses so little processor power and you can do other things while listening to music).

For the more complex codecs, I am afraid an ARM processor is required (that is OS 5 minimum).
