I have just gotten a used nr70v and want to change the user name, How do I do that? I would like to change it to a different name than my other nr70v, but I still want to have the apps I bought for the one on this one as well. What I mean to say is that I bought insaneaquarium and it is only allowing me to put it on the one palm, because of the ID problem. So if I change the ID to match that should solve the problem right?, but will that cause issues when I sync. Either way I still need to change the user info, it still has the old user name set in, not allowing me to sync with my computer using my name.

Sort of an unrelated question, but can I use my one nr70v disc for the other nr70v. I don't have the disc for the one.

The following app may solve your sync ID issue.

I wouldn't think you would have any problem using the same disk of Sony software with both NRs.

also if you bought apps for one name, email the developer and them you changed your hotsync name and I am sure they would be happy to give you a new serial number

If I change the user name and ID to make the program work, will I still be able to sync with the computer using my own Identity? Or if I just change the ID will I get the best of both worlds, kinda confused at this point

I think after you change the user name a new profile would have been created on your desktop.
