Hi everyone,

I just bought a TG50 and I'm trying to connect it to my SE-T68i in order to send SMS and to dial out.

I downloaded the SE-T68i driver from the phone update (palm) and when I press the test button, I get the following message:

You phone was unable to handle the request, please make sure that you have the right drivers for your phone.

Could anyone help me out by sending me the correct init string for the combination, or just plain tell me how they got it connected?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Max

I have the same devices than you, you should check the following things:

- Make sure that both bluetooth devices are paired, check the clie on trusted devices at bluetooth, inside prefs

- Make sure that the phone's bluetooth is in discoverable mode

Any further doubts, just ask......

I do see the CLIE on the phone, and the phone on the CLIE. People suggested that I let the phone find the clie first, and that's what I did.

I started toying around with the phone's connexion string, and I get mixed result (but nothing close to what I want - which is to connect).

Could anyone post their string? Even the string installed by the Palm phone drivers don't work.

(BTW, the first unregistered post was mine ... forgot to log in).

Got it. You have to use the phone drivers from Sony, and not from the PalmOne site.

You can get them here.

Thanks for your help everyone.
