My wife and I both use T-615's and we would really like to be able to sync our calenders. I have looked at "wesync" but they are not accepting new applicants. Does anyone have a solution?

PalmSource offers a free program that offers the ability to view two calendars on the same device. I don't think it allowed you to change or add to the other person's calendar, but it might suit your needs.

At least you both use Palm devices. My honey uses an iPaq (the horrors!) He's waivering about trading up to a Clie T665C though. :)

Thank you very much. I actually had in mind a program that would put both calenders on on list but I think I like this a little better. My wife has always thought she wouldn't use a PDA that much but I got her one for christmas and she really likes it. I've had one for almost a year and couldn't live without it. I think that this program will help us both.

Hey, I answered this question yesterday:D

DualDate is probably what you're looking for. Available at
http://www.palmgear.com/software/showsoftware.cfm?&prodID=44860

DualDate seems to be what you need.

It is a shame about WeSync not accepting new users. My and wife and I use the program and it works wonderfully.

This is going to be so useful for figuring out where my parents are! And visa versa.

I don't know if you need the extra functionality, but a more advanced alternative is to use DateBk5 (from pimlicosoftware.com). In addition to a zillion other things, most of which I don't use, this allows you and your wife to create "shared" events. To do this, DateBk allows you to categorize events (just like you can catetgorize contacts, memos or todos with the basic Palm OS). You create a "shared His" category in which to put events you want her to have on her Palm, she creates a "shared Hers" list for events she wants to share with you. You beam this whole category to her Palm, and she gets yoiur shared events listed right on her calendar. This way, unlike DualDate, she doesn't have to open and wade through your entire calendar to figure out what events she needs to know about - you've already beamed them straight into her calendar. The only trick is that you have to keep these lists separate - in practice, she maintains "her" events and you maintain "yours." To update her calendar, just beam the category again. She can set her DateBk to overwrite the entire "shared His" category with your new data set.

My wife and I swtiched to this after a year of frustration with WeSync Calendars (we found it extremely buggy - lots of duplications and deletions - although we have been fairly happy with WeSync Contacts for our shared address books) and have been very pleased. If there is a better solution I haven't found it.

And hey! If despite the CF outcome ClieSource is still considering sponsoring software development, I would certainly kick in $50 for somebody to come up with a better solution than DateBk5 and WeSync Contacts for sharing data! Any takers?

Does anybody know if dual date will run under OS 5?
