hi all,
Kyle Poole has announcedthat he needs beta testers for his GB/GBC emulator for Palm OS 5. Currently it just supports the Palmone devices but sony support is expected later.

Is Kyle onle accepting people that have boughtit as beta testers????
Or also we ( the ones who hasnt bought the emulator) can test it???????

No Sony support yet (he says it is coming soon.)

I wonder what the 'recommended' specs will ultimately be. By that I mean how much memory and CPU is required to get seamless and real-speed GBA emulation with sound and all effects. 200 MHz? 400 MHz?

I am beta testing the Sony version. As far as the GB/GBC cores are concerened the emulation is almost perfect and in most cases, seems to be a little too fast. The GBA portion hasn't been implemented yet, so I can't comment on that yet.

how large is the screen on a standard clamshell clie like mine or the nx70 series? from the screen shot of the zodiac..the emulated screen looks even smaller than the NesEm !!!

It can be viewd in it's native resolution or it can be scaled to fit the entire screen. Both modes look real good. The "stretched" mode doesn't look awkward either.
