How to speed up Clie Launcher?

Is there anyway to stop the Clie Launcher from reading the memory card everytime you hit the home button to go back to the launcher?


I just started to use the Clie launcher, after been using standard for a longtime, and was trying to figure out why it was much slower and realied it reads memory card every single time.

Any ideas?

get zlauncher. It won't do this to you.

Do you have lots of apps in your MS?
I've only three, so I can't feel the difference. May be you have too much things in your PALM/Launcher folder.

Yes I do have about 20 apps on the MS


So I guess there is no way around it...that stinks.

If I turn off show expansion cards, then it speeds up of course, but then can never get to the MS...

is there a hack around that can get around this?

I heard about a soft called PowerRUn that puts aliases of the apps in MS in RAM. I am sure it could help you. search the forums for PowerRUN
