launcher x / powerrun problem?

i have around 100 games and progs running on powerrun. everything worked fine. then i installed launcher x which is perfect (and not as large as zlauncher and megalauncher). it all worked fine. but after a few days it just went crazy. when i tap for exemple on "calendar" it opens a game instead and so on. 50% it opens another program!! on the 3rd/4th click it sometimes works fine again and the right program will open.

i have no hacks installed. i guess it must be because of powerrun even though i'm not sure about that. then i tried the "normal" clie launcher but it's just that awful - but it works fine. now i tried zlauncher which is running fine as well but is kind of too big (over 1.5mb)..... anyone had the same problems with launcher x???

i'd love to run launcher x on my nx 70 so you're help is really really approciated!!!!!!!

I don't think it's a PowerRun/Launcher X issue.

More like a Launcher X issue.  I've heard different reasons for this problem, so I'll enumerate them below:

1.  Your install was fouled up somehow.  Delete Lx from your NX (use Clie's delete, not a file manager!). Download the program fresh from the LauncherX website.  ReInstall.

2.  You are using a hacked/cracked version of LauncherX.  This is a 'built-in' bug to cause problems for 'illegal' users.

3.  You at some time tried a LauncherX beta, and did not delete all pref files when you removed the program.  See item 1.

Cracked versions do this.  It's supposed to do that in order to deter people from using the cracked version.

thanks a lot! could be cracked as i get it from a friend (he uses the built-in launcher....) =D i try the official version from the website, thanks for help. i just love the layout, better than zlauncher....... i know there are many discussions about launchers...... but are there any big differences between the two???

Yes, there are a lot of differences.  The biggest program difference I notice, having registered both,   is background support.  Customer Service is also much more responsive with Zlauncher.  Try them both and see which works best for you.  It's a very individual thing . . . you may want to do a search in the forums for both Launchers.  You'll get a lot of good info that way.
