I have been reading that the NZ's are getting a huge increase in battery life after draining the batterys and fully recharging them. I realize that the NZ's have a different battery than the NX's, but has anyone had similar results. My battery life has always been good, but just curious if doing this would have any effect.

I sent a post on this some time ago and cannot remember if it was before or after the data loss.
In brief, the manual mentions that it is recommended to keep the battery topped up to prolong it's life. In addition, I spoke with Clie support and a senior support engineer (not the usual frontline support) verified this to be the case.
I just called them up just now and they also verified that the NZ90, using a slightly different battery technology, is suited to deep-recharge-cycling i.e. letting it drain and then recharge fully to prolong it's life ...
Hope that helps ...

I suppose it all depends on the battery technology used. This stuff keeps changing all the time. When in doubt, follow the manufacturers instructions.
