What kind of phone do you have? If you have a recent Nokia phone with BT, I'd go with theNokia HDW-2 (http://www.expansys.us/product.asp?code=HDW-2&asource=). They work really well together and was some good features like last number dialed and such from the Handsfree profile.
If you don't have a Nokia phone (like the Ericsson T68i), the HDW-2 doesn't interopt quite as well, and they don't support the same low power schemes.
If you have a T68i or other Ericsson, look at Plantronics M1000 (http://www.expansys.us/product.asp?code=M1000&asource=).
The Jabra looks interesting, but I don't know much about it.
All in all, I think BT headsets work very well and are of much more value than you might initially think. It's pretty neat to be able to keep the phone in your pocket, and answer the phone and voice dial without using your hands.

yea i saw the jabra one. i like the way it looks over the plantronics cause the mic is shorter so it won't be in your face. yeah i got a t68i

I've got the Jabra with my t68i (just Monday) and have really enjoyed playing with it. So far the headset has been pretty clear. Haven't had a lot of opportunity to test it yet, but I love my phone!

Hmmm, here's a question. If you had an NZ90, a bluetooth enabled phone, and a bluetooth headset, can you use them all simultaneously to make a phone call without having to change any settings while you do it? I don't own any of the above, but I should in the near future and that's the way I envision using my gear. I just want to pull out my NZ90 and headset, put on the headset and beam the number to my cell, which will dial the number after beaming, and then I can talk freely with the headset. Any info/suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, you can -- as long as you have an address book or other program that dials to your phone. There's another thread on that somewhere here.

Actually, it may depend on the phone. I've read somewhere that the t68i can't handle more than one blue tooth connection at once. So, if you send the number to your phone, your headset can't pick up fast enough? I don't know where I read it, but maybe they were able to get it working eventually

I have the S/E t68i, a Palm Tungsten and a Jabra BT headset. They all work seamlessly together. You are able to dial striaght from the built in address book.
I am extremely satisfied with the Jabra headset - best investment in a while. I like it better than the other BT headsets because of its stealth form factor. Battery time is good, operation is easy and radio performance is perfect. (I'm not as satisfied with my t68i).

That's the case with my Tungsten, Jabra headset, and T39 phone.
All I have to do is press the button on my headset to connect to the phone after dialing. It's just a minor annoyance, not really a big deal.

Oh yeah, the point of this thread. :) I love the Jabra headset. It has a very clear microphone, as well as a loud speaker. I've got a HUGE head (I basically can't wear hats), but it still works will with me.
The only bad thing about the headset is that the range sucks. if I get more than 6 feet away, it starts to hiss and cut out. If I'm more than 12 feet away, it disconnects.

That's not the case with my t68i. I don't have to push any buttons. The call is automatically forwarded to the headset after it is dialed by the palm.

I'm using the T39 with the Sony Ericsson headset (the HBH 15). I do have to push the button; but, as raji said, pushing the button on the earpiece is no big deal. (Anyway, I mostly dial from the cell's internal phone book since that's fairly easy and I use the software that syncs the cell's internal phone book with my Palm Desktop address book.)
BTW, for what it's worth, the reviews that I read (could it have been CNET? not sure) suggested that the Sony Ericsson headset (it's now the HBH 30) is superior to the Jabra and Plantronics. (Of course, it's also more expensive.) It doesn't have the streamlining of the Jabra, but the extended mic works better for me anyway.

I have the HBH-30 and it's volume and range are excellent. I've used it across a 15ft room with no dropout. I uses the same charger connection as the T68i so I only need one charger in the car. It's also priced not much more than the Jabra at Expansys.

This is my third bluetooth headset.
First I bought the Plantronics. Not bad, a little bulky, marginal sound quality, uncomfortable to wear.....
Then the Motorola. Better, but it would loose connection unexpectantly....
Then the Jabra.....by far the best (and the cheapest)
BTW I am using them with the same phone - T39.

I can vouch for the HBH-30. Excellent sound quality, very lightweight, and stable on my chick head. I read a review which says it really does work well at 30 ft although I have not tried that yet... I got it for 195 CDN or 120 US.

Swinter or others,
What software do you use to synch your Palm address book in your Clie with your cell phone? I saw Swinter mention the software in this thread and it is a question I have had.

Xtend Connect from Exapansys. It was pricey, though (about $50).

As I recall, I ordered this when someone or other (Sony? Sony Ericsson?) was running a special discount. (It was still expensive; but it does work, and it beats using the IR to beam your address book one person at a time.)
Also, you want to get FunnyPhone (free) to customize your ringtones and graphics for the phone from your PDA.
