Strange issue with UX camera

I've been having a strange problem with the camera on my UX-50.

If I open the camera app, all is fine for about 30 seconds, then I get a fatal error, telling me to restart. I am unable to take pictures before it crashes, unless I'm hella fast.

If I open up the movie recorder app.....all is fine! I can record for an infinate amount of time, no problems at all. But if I switch to the camera app from there, it crashes.

Any clues, help, suggestions? I'd love to take pics again. :mad:

try hard resetting the device. Rarely it has happened with previous models that an app would get that fatal error, after a hard reset, I wouldn't get it again. Good luck
