Hi...
I just bought a second AC Power Adapter to charge my NZ90 at work without having to carry araoud the Dockingsstation and the quite bulky original thing. It is NOT a Sony-Device.
I´m a little confused now. While the original Adapter has an output of 5,2 Volts and 2000 mA, the new one has 12 V (!!!) and only 400mA.
I tried for a short time, and the Clie´s loading-LED went on. When starting the PDA, it said "External Power" etc, so everything looked fine.
To be sure and because I know of my old Zaurus to die immidiately when getting more than the 5 Volts it asked for, I would like to know if the Clie can stand this "altered" input without getting problems.
Does anyone use third-party equipment like this and can probably tell me?
Thnx :D
