I dropped my UX50 onto a concrete surface and the small plastic cap beside the camera lense took the brunk of the impact and is cracked.
Everything is still working great(thankfully), Just wondering if there is something I can do to replace this part myself without returning the whole unit to Sony?
The damage is cosmetic, but I would like to get fixed if possible.

If I remember correctly, this cap that you're referring to is one that many people have lost. It's possible that you can order one from Sony to replace it....

Well, mine seems to have managed to crack and fall off too. Any luck on getting a replacement?

Mine first popped loose but stayed attached just after I got my UX50. I called Sony and asked what to do about it, since my unit was only 3 weeks old. They wanted me to send it in for repair. I just got some high quality contact cement and stuck it back on. Been there ever since.

My UX50 was purchased in USA, but I live in UK - gave up on trying to register/get support from Sony.

My UX50 was purchased in USA, and I live in UK too. (saves soooo much money!)... it's worth not having local support for the money saved. My UX50 cost me £305 from Amazon.com, and at the time in London it was £600.
