How far is the IR

In the Clie RMC how long will the IR reach? Do you have to be standing right next to the tv or is it enhanced?

About 5 or 6 meters (maybe even further). I can turn on my TV from the next room, and that's all I care about.

the clie RMC has the ability to use the enhanced ir on the clie. Most third party programs can't do this. I can use mine from a good 20 feet with no problems.
